The Warwick Yarn Club, Hooks and Needles, is  extending an invitation to those of you who love to knit, crochet, needlepoint and socialize. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room of the Warwick Township Building at 1733 Township Greene, Jamison, PA 18929 (off Meyer Way).  You are welcome to come for as much or as little of the time as your schedule permits. There are no fees. The goal is to share patterns, knowledge, skills, information, and to make new friends. Just bring your work, a light snack if you want, and your smile. Join us for project-based art classes where you will create your own art with a variety of mediums!  Discover new ways to create art while relaxing and having fun. All levels of experience are welcome.  Be prepared to learn the basics of art and beyond!  You have the option of participating in 2 different, different sessions.  All supplies are included in the price and no experience is necessary!    The instructor, Anita Thompson, is a Teaching Artist. She received her BFA at Rowan University in the year 2000, where she majored in painting and illustration. In 2012, she illustrated four children's books.  In 2019, she started a mobile art business called Artventure Workshops, where she teaches art workshops to all ages in libraries and other venues throughout PA and NJ. Join us for project-based art classes where you will create your own art with a variety of mediums!  Discover new ways to create art while relaxing and having fun. All levels of experience are welcome.  Be prepared to learn the basics of art and beyond!  You have the option of participating in 2 different, different sessions.  All supplies are included in the price and no experience is necessary!    The instructor, Anita Thompson, is a Teaching Artist. She received her BFA at Rowan University in the year 2000, where she majored in painting and illustration. In 2012, she illustrated four children's books.  In 2019, she started a mobile art business called Artventure Workshops, where she teaches art workshops to all ages in libraries and other venues throughout PA and NJ. Join us for project-based art classes where you will create your own art with a variety of mediums!  Discover new ways to create art while relaxing and having fun. All levels of experience are welcome.  Be prepared to learn the basics of art and beyond!  You have the option of participating in 2 different, different sessions.  All supplies are included in the price and no experience is necessary!    The instructor, Anita Thompson, is a Teaching Artist. She received her BFA at Rowan University in the year 2000, where she majored in painting and illustration. In 2012, she illustrated four children's books.  In 2019, she started a mobile art business called Artventure Workshops, where she teaches art workshops to all ages in libraries and other venues throughout PA and NJ. The Warwick Yarn Club, Hooks and Needles, is  extending an invitation to those of you who love to knit, crochet, needlepoint and socialize. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room of the Warwick Township Building at 1733 Township Greene, Jamison, PA 18929 (off Meyer Way).  You are welcome to come for as much or as little of the time as your schedule permits. There are no fees. The goal is to share patterns, knowledge, skills, information, and to make new friends. Just bring your work, a light snack if you want, and your smile. Join Ms. Kristen for some culinary fun and exploration!  Each week, your child will create a tasty treat all while learning basic culinary skills such as; mixing, pouring, stirring, and even cutting!  The weekly themes will incorporate new and different foods which we hope your child will be excited to try!  Bon appetit, everyone!  *Attention Participants: If school is closed on a class day and you need to bring any of your older children along, they are welcome to participate for a drop in fee of $15.00 per child.  If they attend, but do not partake in the planned activities, the fee will not apply.  To arrange the drop-in, please contact Kristen no later than the Monday before your desired class.  The drop-in option is only for families who currently have a child registered for the program.*    Spring Program Registration Opens Tuesday, February 24th at 8:00 AM!
